I have a chance to pick up a slabbed, ms64 Washington dollar with no edge writing for %80.00. Is this a good price? Any help would be appreciated.

Not particularly. MS65's from both PCGS and NGC are available on ebay for $85.

Wow! thanks again, guess I have to start checking ebay...I won't buy there though. Call me weird, but I like the "fondle" factor when I buy...

I'll keep looking for a better deal.

Doubtful, it already did that when first discovered, they were selling for >$250 at one point. The population is fairly well established now and it turns out to not be that terribly rare with an estimated mintage of 100,000. Of course, more could still be found, depressing the value a bit further but I do see the value holding between $50 and $100. Now if you want an edge error that is quite rare, the Adams or Jefferson dollars would fit the bill.
