Home from the show. It was well attended and people were exchanging money. Everything from bargain bins to Early US Dollars and a row of 1909 S VDB high graded coins.
Not a single 2009 P nickel to be had.
Lots of rolls of 2009 cents though and proof sets.
I found a few nice people to deal with. I renewed my membership with the club.
Next year I'll be selling there behind a table.
I met a very pleasant member of CCF there too. It was a little awkward for me at first, as the forum is a lot different than face to face encounters.
After a fairly short time, I felt very comfortable and we had a nice time moving along together, shopping on our own then meeting up later on to show each others our finds.
Thanks for a great afternoon Myst !! Nice to meet ya !

Most of ya probably don't recognize me since I don't post very often but I do lurk around a lot, and I'm glad I did to find out about this show from Wheezy. It was my first real coin show and it was a lot of fun to see so many great coins I hope to add to my collection someday

It was really cool to meet Wheezy there, he's really a very nice guy and we had great conversation before browsing some of the room together. He showed me some of the finer points of Jefferson nickels, he really knows his stuff. I don't know any other collectors so it was a fun chance to have someone to chat with about coins as we looked around. I think I am going to see about joining the club as well and hopefully it will be as enjoyable as my first show was thanks to Wheezy
