Just wondering the going rate on IKEs. I have over a 100 that I am wanting to get rid of, and I have a buyer at $1.20. Is that a reasonable price on these? Or can I expect more? Thanks, Jordan

Hi Jordan, I volunteer to give what the grey sheet says..BUT, you will have to be more specific on how this roll looks. What year(s)?Are they proof? or MS? Are they blue or brown OGP? What are condition, are they BU? or PR roll(s) Are they 40% silver? Any way, give more and I'll reply--OK CiScO

I like IKEs because they are big and there is alot to look at.
Consequently, the mint had its hands full when they minted them. First, the mint had not minted a large coin like the IKE since 1921 and two, the mint had to strike a nickel based alloy composition (very hard) instead of something with 90% silver (softer).
All this makes finding decent struck IKEs very difficult and if any of your IKEs are in MS65 conditions or better, they will get premiums. I am referring to the circulated strikes in MS65 condition or better as the mint also issued 40% silver (S mint) in order to produce better looking coins for us colletors. They made a bunch and these S-mints are only worth anthing in true MS67 conditions or better.
A 1971-P IKE in a true MS65 condition graded by PCGS or NGC sells for over $100. Look it up!
Hope that helps...

OK if we are talking clads, prices range from a low (these are ask prices)(roll=20 coins) $30 to highs of $160 to $140, depending on years. These are BU prices mind ya, so if they are beatup or worn out you won't get that much. So if you got an offer $120 for clads (which is about $24 per your rolls), I say take it!! Now if you had a roll of 40% silver IKES is another matter, for a roll of 1973S Proof Ikes (BU mind ya), you can get $400 big ones..Thats the highes price on this printout--The proof are much more valuable than the MS types, altho some MS are up thar esp the silver ones--Hope this helps ya... Hi amac44, For the 1896 in AU (it's the only way listed) bid: $16.50, ask: $17.50, for the 1898 bid: 16.50, ask: 17.50. Keep in mind now that these prices are what dealers prices are with each other--Also remember it is a base price, sorta like a "ballpark" number the dealers use. BTW this sheet I am using is April 7th sheet. I will only buy these one at a time per month when I am getting ready to put coins up for sale-- CiScO

I believe you switched the bid and ask. Bid is the lower price, ask is the higher. The prices I gave were 4/14 Bid Prices.
