I just need to know year, country, type, and price. You know all the basics.

Well I thought that it was french but there is no year or denomination so I looked through both of my world books (1700-1800) and (1800-1900) and I could not find it at all.

This is no coin but a jeton, made in Neurenberg by Lazarus Gottlieb Lauffer (LGL).
Obverse: Louis le Grand Roy de France (Louis XIV the Great, king of France)
Reverse: Le repos suit la Victoire (rest comes after victory)

Do you have a time period or an estimated value. I really have no clue at all.

Do you have a time period...

This particular member of the Lauffer family was promoted to token-master in 1663 and died in 1709; Louis XIV was king of France throughout LGL's tenure as token-master, so without a date on the jeton itself, I don't think it can be narrowed down any further within that period.

That's tricky; jetons aren't coins, so aren't included in the Krause catalogues. My only Louis XIV jeton was given to me as a gift, so I have no experience as to what they sell for. I'd guess no more than a few dollars.
