I'd always wanted a George V dollar, and finally picked one up in Winnipeg last week. The dealer had a lot of them. I picked this one because of the crustiness around the lettering.

Indeed looks like a nice MS coin with some attractive and authentic hazing on it.The detail of the crown is very crisp as well. Get yourself a 1935 and then you can say you got yourself Canadas 1st issued year of silver dollar. They go for approx the same amount of money as your 36. 20 bucks U.S was a good deal as well!!
I love those Voyageur dollars. The only thing I love more are silver 50 cent pieces from 1937-52. Given the pattern of the dirt around the lettering, I think this coin was cleaned, but still well worth $20.
I think we have a better chance of finding a 1936 DOT penny than that 1911. I believe (but check it out anyway),the 1911 in a private collection sold in 1988 for over $1,000,000.00
