Very nice! This is one of my favorite designs on US coinage. I have a hard time grading them though

The incused design does make grading much tougher.

I would grade this coin at VF-30/35, because of the wear on the war bonnet and eagles left wing I don't think it would grade EF.

Nice coin. Yeah, they are tough to grade. They don't show wear as easily as other designs. I would guestimate an XF-45.

I agree with echizento. This coin is VF30. Maybe 35 on a good day.

It is a nice piece for your 7070 Gold Page because it doesn't have any major problems and you shouldn't have had to pay a large "conditional" premium.

You guys are probably right. I tend to overgrade these since the details show so well. This is another coin I'd only buy certified both for grading and authenticity purposes(and yes, the list is getting long...lol)
