Yes, Friday at least. A shame that there will be no auction. I understand that that is because it is very hard to get a licence for one in Alberta.

sorry, only an hour away, but can not go...
I understand George Manz will be there from Regina.
Apparently he will have most of the coins with him which will be in his auction on Sept 19.
here is a link to his web site. the cataloge is also online there in a .pdf format.
there are a few interesting items in that auction...amongst others, a die rotated 1948 Dollar..
perhaps some of you guys check it out and report back?

George Manz had some nice coins! I am so sorry I didnt check this thread earlier! I would have loved to meet up with some of you guys'! I was there Friday and some of saturday. I was wearing one of the Edmonton Numistmatic society dress shirts.
There was a nice presentation on counterfeits and ebay held by teh RCMP at the hotel, and the RCM was there releasing the bobsled quarter. So I grabbed two of those and got it signed by the Olympic athlete that was there... what was her name?
lol
Did any of you guys use the Die press? I smacked myself two blank planchets, and I double stamped one. haha I got her to rotate it after the first strike.
I wonder... should we post our buys in this thread?

Sure, why not.
Here's a picture of me in my car after the show, lol.
And a picture of the 1858 Large cent I picked up for super cheap.
The 1858 actually completes my large centtset. Missing a few varietys still though.
