John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 03/12/2010 07:40 am Sorry for the late responses,numiso- the scope is rated 10x-150x but I don't know what the x is on the '83. norham- I recommend the Barska USB Digital Microscope it was my second choice when I was shopping for one. Just checked E-bay and couldn't find it there any more. I paid $60 for my Celestron inc.shipping, the Barska was $70. The Dino-Lite JP324 is talking about is a great one but it is high dollar,somewhere in the two hundred dollar range but well worth it. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

I got in a hurry (as usual)and bought a no namer (http://www.qvsgadgetworld.com/digit...oscope.html) I also had to make a more rigid mono pod. The software leaves a lot to be desired but it doe's let you snap a picture from the computer.It has 6 leds but you can turn them off which I do because of the glare.
