I have tried and tried. The pictures don't show it that well. One makes it look darker than it is and the other makes it look almost gold, which it definitely is not.

My question can a 63 coin look so new or did someone put this in a cleaner or something. Random coin from change. I put the other in there just for color comparison.

Yep.

It has not been floating aorund in circulation getting beaten up. It has most likly been in someones piggy bank for 30 years sitting on a desk. Then just recently for some reason the person cashed in coins and it pops back into circulation.

A nice find to fill a hole with right from circulation.

Cool. I know I was surprised when I looked at the date. I have a better chance of finding some good stuff where I live. My town has around 12 houses in the whole thing. Not a prosperous town either, so people are more likely to just cash in parent or grandparents change without a thought.

After my lies saying that I was buying rolls for poker I finally just told the lady at the bank and that I was looking for particular coins and she told me that last year someone brought in 6 rolls of dimes and 4 of quarters and out of the ten six of them were NOTHING but silver. She said she bought two of the rolls for each son and the others she did nothng with. I just about died. I told her if she ever came across anymore to give me a call and I would be there in less than a minute. Which she might just do because she thinks I'm quite odd for having such a hobby. Not to mention I'm buttering them up with free organic produce from our garden. Ha Ha!

I find those roll searching, just tonight I found about 4-5 60's there were nice and red. Your coin has not been cleaned. I can see cartwheel luster from your lighting. If you hold the coin under light and rotate it, you should see what looks like a cartwheel spinning around. Cleaned cents lose this luster 99.9% of the time.
