This coin is one of my Grandpa's coins that he had me look at. Something that I am curious about is that it dosen't look like a CC at first, but when I reflect the coin off of any light, It looks like what might be a CC below the wreath. I'll show you some pictures. I really need help determining if this is a CC or just a Philly coin.

This is all I can do for today. Tomorrow, I'll get much better pictures tomorrow.

Your coin is not a CC. In this level of preservation, the mintmark would be clearly visible. It's an 1889 and looks to be approx. AU55. Nice coin! Looks to have some crimson or brick red toning around the periphery as an added plus

I agree not a CC. I would also grade it at AU-55.

It's been in my Grandpa's safe for years, along with other coins. It still retains it's luster too.

I'll get better pictures today of the coin. Even if it isn't a CC. I'll search for VAMs too.
