John,

Can you post some more pictures of the 1982? I am intrigued by the doubling on the "O" in GOD and would like to know what all of the other lettering looks like! It has some characteristics of the DDO-002 but the "O" in GOD looks more like a Large over Small or Small over Large hubbing but the 1982's only have Large and Small Date Varieties, not Large and Small Letter Varieties. I guess that it is possible that it could be due to Distorted Hub Doubling where the Die was hubbed by one Master Die then hubbed again with another improperly annealed Master Die or Vice Versa!

The 2006 looks like a Tootsie Roll Date!

I don't think it is 1982P-1DO-002. The spread is much stronger. Is this a Zinc Cent? The 002 is copper. Here is a comparison to a normal Cent and the 002

Coop,
Is the '82 anything? What about the '06 date shift? Is it anything?

The 82 the motto might be interesting. We will have to see what Chuck says on this one. Maybe a few more images of the motto and date? That might help.

There are a few 2006 Doubled dies listed on coppercoins.

Just off the first page of listings. You would need to compare doubling of the devices from the site and even then it may be hard, but not impossible. You just have to know what to look for and where on the coin it might be.

The 1982 appears normal to me, with some die wear. 2006 looks hopeful, check LIBERTY for notching on the corners of the letters.

The devices are wider that year on the large date copper ones. See my above example to see what you need to be looking for.
