here is photos and scans of what I believe, (with almost complete confidence), is a 1955S 1DO-001, as described on "coppercoins" site. all of the die markers are present and matching, EXCEPT the die crack alone the right wheat stock. in this case the "E" and "P" in E . Plur, show Machine Doubling. verifying, (for the sake of self confidence), is appreciated. grade opinions are appreciated, to help mark the "flip" I will be putting this coin in. I believe this is XF or better, possibly might range into AU. thanks.

Looks correct from what I see. The image on coppercoins is an EDS and with that die crack in that die state, the reverse was probably retired and an other reverse probably replaced it. Nice find! Now I have to look up my 1955-S Cents and see if I have one....1955-S-1-DO-001-I'm-Almost-Certain

on the wheat stalk grains.
