Whitman Vs. Dansco - Coin Community Forum

hippiebrian Valued Member United States 436 Posts	Posted 08/19/2009 10:59 pm I am going to get a 20th century type album from Whitman, as Dansco doesn't have one and a 7070 is a bit overwhelming for a new guy like me. I am currenty almost done (well, at least over half) with an old Peace dollar album, and am thinking about continuing with all the 20th century dollars (Ike, SBA, and the later Morgans) then moving on th halfs. O.K. Here's the question. I know I can get a Dansco for the Kennedy's and Ikes with the proofs, but do the Whitman's have holes for the proofs? I want to include them, but all Whitman albums would look better. I will go with the Danscos if the Whitman's don't include the proofs, though. Report this Post to the Staff

Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 08/20/2009 09:44 am what is the difference between the Whitman 9139 and the Dansco 7070 album? I am asking as far as coin wise. Most 7070 albums do not come with the Gold page and I see the Whitman doesn't either but what coins does it include that Dansco doesn't or what coins are not included that dansco has? The reason I ask is because I have noticed Dansco has left out some of the more expensive coins and was wondering if the whitman 9139 has these included or what Report this Post to the Staff
