This little coin came in the mail today. It is not very photogenic, as the spots in the photos are barely visible in hand. Anyways, I paid $4 for it, and might have overpaid a tad. It's still a decent cheap upgrade for my type set. What would you grade?

Well....I've been told I tend to be harsh on my grading of Lincolns and Peace dollars, but I'll give it a shot. I'd call it an MS60-61. Even with the spots, it's an attractive steelie. I like it, and I definitely would have paid $4 for it. I think you did good.

63 or 64. The large images do make the spots look bad. My guess is a major TPG would go 63 these days.

Yeah. I think I need to rephotograph the coin. The spots on the obverse are practically invisible, and you wouldn't even notice them unless you angled the coin just right. The reverse spots by the right wheat are the only ones that are apparent.
