In my research I have found this example of a silver dirham of Saladin that my coin is similiar to. I have not been able to find any more info and any help such as date, history or exactly what my coin is etc would be appreciated. My coin is the first 3 pictures and the 4 picture is of the silver dirham of Saladin in the British Museum. Thank you in advance.

Your coin isn't from Saladin, but it is a "star dirham" of one of his predecessors of the Artuqid dynasty.

The Artuqids were a Turkic dynasty based in Mardin, now in southeastern Turkey near the border with Syria and Iraq. Your coin is in the name of Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslan and was struck in the nearby town of Dunaysir (now Kiziltepe) in the year 628 Islamic calendar (= AD 1231-1232). This coin is a very close match, though it was struck in 627 instead.
