This may seem like something I should know but how exactly are coins made? I just realised I don't actually know [:0]

Listed in an earlier post is reference to a US television show called secrets of the US mint.

It is a very interesting show. I have recorded it onto TIVO - If I can figure out how to get it onto a DVD I will send out copies, but I am still working on the technology.
Be patient I hope to get this acomplished yet-
I may have to download it to VCR then to DVD
problem wit VCR is which format- mine does not doe PAL

besides showing how coins are made including a seperate section on gold coins done at a seperate mint, there is a section on counterfeiting.
