My dad has a coin from 1701 I believe its spanish. One one side it reads "hispaniarvm rex 1701" on the other it reads "philippus v d grant" coin? I tried researching it but no luck.Any one know about the history of this coin.

If you add pictures of both sides, and measurements of diameter and weight, to your question then that would be the best way to get a good answer.
