First of all... why is it a blood red color?

Secondly.. what are all the fragments scattered across it from?

1929-S-Wheatie...-What-Happened?

The thing that is most notable to me... is the the "T"in CENT on the reverse side.

The the crossing of the "T" continues in a downward slant..

Looks like dear ole Abe stood too close to the monkey cage when visiting the zoo.

I think I see what you are referencing, but the pictures are not tight enough for real crisp ID of anything out of place. Any way to get a little brighter and tighter pictures?

to the forum DEAM. That 'T' was not made at the mint that way. Post mint damage.

looks like a detector find. your T could be anything from post mint damage to a die chip. myself I would go for post mint. soak it in olive oil for a few weeks and see if the grime comes off but don't rub it off if you want to keep the coin for your collection. the coin don't look too bad for being so dirty
good luck with it anyway

Whatever it is... the snowflakes or other... they ain't coming off... I had to scratch away with a tooth pick to get the mintmark visible enough to make out an "S"... nope, no not coming off without a dremel.

here are some closer pics...

see the scratch marks to the left of the mint mark? Notice that if scratched there is shiny metal underneath the red coat?

SO... if these flakes are covered in the red coating... how is it post mint damage?

A couple of images showing the edege of the coins and the color underneath...

Welcome to CC!

Environmental damage, more specifically, advanced verdigris. Sad to say, but this coin is a goner.

VERDI-GONE™ will not touch that, it's far too advanced. Even if it were removed, there would be deep pitting. VERDI-GONE™ is only for light to moderate verdigris.
