AmericanMuscle Valued Member United States 101 Posts	Posted 08/26/2009 01:02 am After reading though a bunch of posts where you guys talk about buying boxes of circulated coins and such from your local banks in order to search for those "diamonds in the rough", I had an epiphany! I can't believe I didn't put this together earlier but my girlfriend has been working for Bank of American for the last 6 months. Now here's my question, what exactly should I be asking her to bring me so I can get my search on? Boxes of halves, quarters...? How do I go about utilizing my inside connection to help with my coin collecting? Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6381 Posts	Posted 08/26/2009 01:54 am If your girlfriend's bank has a coin counting machine, I'd try to get access to the filled coin bags to search for silver, wheat cents, etc. Otherwise, just have her get the tellers to set aside unusual or silver coins found in their trays. Silver dimes, quarters, and halves are easily spotted by the edge color. Please let us know whether you are successful! Report this Post to the Staff
