I'm just curious how you organize your quarters. In your folder do you have all the regular caribou issues separate from the commemoratives (ex. Poppy, Alberta, Bravery, etc) or are they all mixed in by order of date regardless of issue? I know its a personal preference but I want to know how YOU do it. Thanks. Hi, nds76, what I do is put mine in order of the dates in which they come.

Hi SHAFTA9a, that is what I did on my previous collection before I ended up selling it. I am in the process of rebuilding and I am trying to decide if I want to keep the commemoratives separate or just keep them and the caribou all togther.

I guess you could keep them seperate, but I find it's more confusing that way. but.. then again it doesn't take much to confuse me.

I organize my coins by the time of day I put them in the folder. I've got one album for 9AM - 10AM, another for 10AM - 11AM, etc. Then when I'm putting my coins up, I just check the clock and then can easily locate the correct album. The only drawback I've found is that every Spring I have to go through my entire collection and move every coin ahead to the next folder, then in the Fall I have to move them all back into previous folder.

I always put them in my albums in order of the date. Its just that I'm trying to decide if I should stick the commemorative quarters in with the caribou's.

I go by year, but have thought about doing comms and varieties separately, I still, one day, day want to reorganise mine to display all in a great format but the time involved keeps me from the project and than I have the reality that apart from me nobody really cares. I could put them in my dirty sock and other than me no one would really care. It's how you like to see them , your the one that cares, do what you find pleasing.

This morning I have decided to arrange my quarters in the following manor:
The Caribou's and circulating commems (such as Bravery, Breast Cancer, etc.) will be grouped together in order of date.
The 1992/1999/2000 and the Olympic quarters will be separate but ordered by the dates.
The rationale? I want the Caribou's to be more together than being gapped several commems.
