Do you detect any problems that might prevent it from receiving a grade at NGC or PCGS? Report this Post to the Staff

(You must have shelves of UNC coins left to you by your ancestors that you pluck occasional coins from to dazzle us with!) Easily a AU-55 but I would bet the graders would go higher. They usually have a lot of appealing items on ebay. I also bought an 1837 half dollar from them which was later slabbed AU-50 by ICG. This Barber half was rejected by PCGS when I submitted it for grading (that was before they started their Genuine service). They called it 'cleaned' but I really don't see any strong evidence of cleaning. One day I may attempt another submission. Report this Post to the Staff
