Here is a 2008 dime with what I believe to have an error on the planchet prioir to it being dtamped!If you can see the have moon strike on the right side of the coin going in between the 0 and the 8.
The 8 and other areas of the coin that this half moon line runs through all appear to be fully struck making me believe it was on the planchet prioir to being stamped.
Sorry if the pics are bad but I'm taking the picture through a magnifying lens alligator clip based device that you can get at the local auto store and have yet to purchase a scanner.
