There are proofs of that year but that isn't one. Its a worn circulation coin that grades VF perhaps. Worth $10-20.

It will be fully struck up, with no signs of wear, which this coin has plenty of. Look especially at the crown on your coin, the bands are worn, the centre diamond is worn and is starting to touch the bands, on a proof, or even a higher grade coin you will see a distinct separation of the diamond from the bands. Also the overall flatness of the devices in your coin wont be evident. Have a look at these pictures and you will see what I mean about the detail. This is a proof 1930 penny.

G'day, it may interest Yabe to know that the last 1930 penny proof to sell was sold at AUD $620,000 in March 2005 - the highest price ever paid for a bronze coin.

The previous sale realised $281,750 (March 2000):

the coin in the link given by Latman is currently for sale: the asking price was AUD $2,000,000 back in February; see:

an offer of AUD $1,000,000 is reported to have been rejected:

There are more details in the CCF Archives.
