If this is the -010, you should also have trails headed straight west off of E P and L. the top left corner of memorial has trails too. These are very hard to see, so getting the light just right to see them is a bear. Report this Post to the Staff

MorgansRmine Pillar of the Community United States 1219 Posts	Posted 08/31/2009 07:45 am numismo, trails do tend to weaken with use of the die. I found one a little worse off, but still it shows its trails. One of these coins shows the die scratches in front of Lincoln and the other not. Both show the die chip cluster near rim between R and I. If you can't find this on your coin, chances are Charles or Bob would have to examine the coin under a scope to tell for sure.
