John, if the worm like critter is raised, then it is most likely a scratch on the field of the die. If incuse, it could be a strike through a piece of wire or bristle. Not sure a piece of string that small would affect the die any. The other coins appear to have struck with a spot of grease on the die.

I've seen the round rough marks on the LP2 and attributed them as low spots on the planchet. No real value for them in fact if the coin was graded it would detract it's grade. The struck through is very small. It would hard to get an extra premium unless it was stronger in my opinion.
