I have been trying to find a software inventory for my coins.

There are so many out there with differeing prices etc.

Can anyone recommend a good one, or let me know which one you use...please ?

Cheers

I have been using Coin Organizer Deluxe fr a couple years an really like it you can do almost anything well anything since you can even create other databases using it.

They had a demo version when I was looking I tried all the different ones that had demos and picked this one.

I use CoinPro 2009, it also has a 30 day demo and good tutorials. It also has an option that allows you to add photos of the coin which I really like.

Hope that helps,

Mike

PS I think most of the folks use Excell which is also a good option

I use Coin Manage 2009 and really like it. Easy to use with great features.

coinmanage is good if all you want is a place to put your coin records. if you want support or any info about how the thing works forget it. heck even their forum is worthless. they don't answer emails or forum questions.
if you are looking for quality go far away from coin manage

I use Coin Manage 2009; it is ok except that it only upgrades annually so you cant enter your 2009 coins until it is updated. You can add your own profiles for new coins. I have also emailed Liberty Park on three occassions with questions/etc and have never received a response. Their support is poor.

I use Exact Change. It's very good, and they have an agreement with Krause so they are able to include the KM numbers. You can add your own photos of your coins or use their stock ones (which are very good and you can zoom in and see minute details if you need to). It has a reports section that is very good as well - default reports plus you can create your own.

Also.. on Exact Change's support, I'd have to say they are excellent. I emailed them one time about a question I had, and received an in-depth how-to from the owner. I was quite impressed with the speediness of the response, not to mention the reply I got was obviously not a form-email and some thought had been put into it.
