Hi,

I hope this is the right forum for this question. I would like to know more about how coins are made. I would also like to know how coins have been made in the past. One of the aspects of coin manufacture that has me puzzled is how multiple dies of the same coin are produced but look practically identical in every detail. Also I would like to know how how a series of denominations are created with the same apparently exact pattern. Like the sitting liberty coins. From Half Dime to dollar.

Thanks in advance!
