I just had a customer sell me 104 mint bags of 1977-1981 cents, what is the best way to sell these off, I don't want to search over half a million coins for errors.

I might see if I can get a bank to roll them and sell them in 10 roll sets, but some I will sell as complete bags for the error collector guys.

I think you would do better leaving them in the sealed mint bags.

Yes that would be nice, WELCOME to CCF

However you would need to establish yourself here with at least 50 quality posts and be a member for at least 2 weeks. Hope to see that!

Good Luck getting a bank to roll them for you. My son had a little baggy of coins that he wanted to put into his bank account and the bank would not even take them unless we had them in rolls. They did give us some paper wrappers for them though.

I think leaving them in the bags and selling them that way is best, less people to deal with and we have a lot of coin dealers and collectors in Texas !! I'll have to post a picture of the bed of my pickup filled with the bags next week. I mostly collect morgans PCGS MS64's in the older holders for myself but buy and sell a lot of coins each week, this was just an oddball type deal and it is a price too hard to refuse !

I would be more interested in bags than rolls. I think leaving them in bags is a good idea.

My thought would be to "bide a wee', and when you have the 50 posts, and 14 days, etc, then come back and "test the water". We all abide by the rules, and so far they haven't made any exceptions, so meanwhile, enjoy the forum, and ask any queastions you have. There are those who can and will answer them.
Welcome, aboard!

I wouldn't bother searching. There are no significant valuable errors/varieties in that particular year range. Sell them all a few dollars more than what you paid for it and make a small profit. Get out while you can, lol.
But that's just my opinion. Oh yeah, welcome to CCF!
