I have two crisp sequential 2003 $100 bill star notes. Are they worth anything more than face value?

I am sure there is some kind of numismatic premium on them Especially since they are sequential and unc.

If you are looking to sell them you could put them on ebay for $100 each starting bid and find out first hand. If nothing else you would receive face value or you would still have them.

_22_,
Personally I would spend them because most collectors want at least four zeros to start and after all holding on to two $100 bills is not easy these days.

and most collectors can really hold on to $100's as much as $1, $5, $10....etc.

but if you can, try to hold on to it. I would if I could.

I looked the serials up and I didn't find any for those numbers in 2003. In 2003 A however I found that only 1.92 million were printed in July of 2006 so it is a decently rare run. I might also try to sell them together rather that apart.

All I know is a 20 dollar star note is worth about $75. Hang onto them, they're worth more than $100.

_22_,
If it's a 2003A then keep it. If it's just a 2003 then do more research on it because the web site I use http://www.mycurrencycollection.com/reference/ says non were made and if you have one (2003) then it might indeed be worth a lot, here's hopping.

They are in fact 2003A and I'm still just going to hang on to them... maybe they'll be worth something some day.

Thanks for everyone's help!

I usually try to hang on to every star note I find in good condition and I also have a habit of keeping all sequential notes (star or otherwise)

Must be nice to have enough money to keep your star notes. I keep them until I need the money, LOL.
