i found this coin album, in some boxes of my own old stuff. it is a dansco Jefferson nickel coin album. it is only two pages total. the copyright note says copyright 1959. I apparently was given it as a gift in 1960. I was then 7 years old. this is probably my first coin collection. I know tha my family didnt have much money, and I didnt start working for pay for another 7 years. so the coins were whatever I could find from my mothers change. the handwritten "60" in the upper left of the first page, was probably written in by my mother. I dont even know what any of the other hand notes may have meant at the time. I know there are no rare or valuable coins here, but the nostalga - has a lot of value. just though I would share. thanks

That's really cool. I definitely appreciate the nostalgic value of coins I've inherited far more than the dollar value.

Great find. My Mother recently gave me a Whitman Lincoln Cent book that she had started in the 1940's. Nothing much of value, but it sure has sentimental value to me.
