Hey everyone again! Even though I haven't been posting, I have been lurking

Now I need some help...

2 weeks ago, I finished my last ebay sale for the lot of the 300 Swiss francs. The customer paid, I printed a label for it, used the priority mail small size box, and sent it off.

It's been 2 weeks now and he says he still hasn't received it and has filed a PayPal claim. DC isn't working, either for the package.

I have contacted my post office and his local post office. They say the same thing they see on the tracking site, which is that the USPS expected to receive the item on the day I printed the label (8/26.)

So what should I do?

Not a whole lot you can do if you cant provide PROOF that it was delivered.

No tracking information or proof from the Post you can provide to the claim?

True not much you can do to prove it did get there. Many, many instances where buyers know this and claim they never received an item. Then too, there are those many stories of the postal people hiding, opening, discarding, etc postal items. Not long ago one postal employee had many piles of mail not delivered under his porch.
Someday that item of yours may or may not pop up.
Sorry, it's happened to me too.

Isn't Priority numbered? It used to be, and you could track it on the computer. When it was picked up, it used to be signed off by the driver who received it (who gave you a tear-off carbon copy of your manifest) and by the Post Office when he dropped it off there, and then by the receiving office on the other end, and finally by the receiver when he got it in the mail.

Or did they screw that up, too?

I printed a label and then dropped it off at the dorm's mailing center. I've asked everyone from the mailing center to the local PO to the PO of the recipient, but they all say they don't know anything about it.

Here's what the number is currently showing
