I have an old eight reales coin and noticed very recently that it had some verdigris in the obverse side.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a professional coin cleaner as I have no idea how to clean coins and am afraid that cleaning it myself would ruin its value.

8R coins are silver; chances are if you're looking at a greenish discoloration on the coin it's PVC damage from how it was stored rather than verdigris. The coin needs to get into an acetone bath. Do a Search on this Forum for "acetone" to find out how; acetone needs to be treated with great care but it will not harm a silver coin in any way.
