Working on my first Dansco and have cracked a few certified coins to include. My question deals with the certification sheets that comes from the slabs. Right now I have a regular envelope taped inside the back cover of the Dansco with the certifications saved inside. Any other suggestions on how to store/display them?

I have seen fellow members tape or glue the labels to the back of the book. An envelope is not a bad idea unless you want easy access to them and don't mind having to take them from the envelope and dig through them.

Oh and...

I would think that since Danscos are designed in such a way that you can add pages to them, that a neater alternative would be to add a page at the back of the album to place these certificates on. I think if you had enough to fill a page the size of the album, you could get them laminated in 8 1/2 X 11 stock and trim down and punch holes. (assuming you have no intentions on selling) Another possibility would be a photo album page (the kind with the plastic cover that sticks to the page) trimmed down to the size of the Dansco. Just suggestions!

What ratman said. I use Whitman Albums and have a page in the front of all Albums for those little tags from slabs. Since there is a chance I may move a coin from one Album to another, I use those peices of paper called Post-Its. I take the sticky portion and using just the edge of a one, I stick the little stickers from slabs on to that blank sheet. I also use that extra page for miscellaneous info such as "This album contains an extra page at the rear for xxxx" This is used when I add a blank page with coins I want to add. For example I have made Albums with Roosevelt, Mercury, Liberty Head Dimes all in one folder with blank pages for those coins. That extra page is used to explain what is in the Album. Such things are really easy with Whitman's since you can order all types of blank covers, pages and those sheets of press on letters and numbers.
Rest in Peace

I have added a page of construction paper with hole supports to the back of my Dansco,s. I then place the certificate in a stamp holder so that if I remove the coin at some point and time all I have to do is slip the certificate out of the stamp holder and replace it with the upgrade. This keeps the back cover of the Dansco free and as stated allows me to replace certificates when I need to with no damage to the album.
