now its just a common date recent Lincoln Cent but on the obverse you can see the memorial pressing through in the background I hope the scans will show it

It could be a brockage error (mirror impression on the opposite side of the coin).

I have a coin exactly like this, except it is a massive die clash error - if you love that coin ill send in a pic as soon as I get it back from the attribution company!!!!!!!!

Could be a jail house lincoln,, can you tell if the image of the Memorial is raised ?

If it is its a die clash and a cool find !!

actually I have brockage errors and die clash error's but this only resembles it I dont believe it is raised metal man I just checked it the metal looks raised oh so minutely, at least it looks that way with a 16X Loop

The coin imaged is a die clash, and a rather nice one. They typically sell for $10-$20 in red Bu condition.

It almost looks like it was printed on except under magnification and doesn't seem to diturb the obverse strike otherwise Usually dont you find evidence of the opposite side of the coin being slightly different from the normal strike and apperance
