Zürich thaler, undated (circa 1560), known as a "Stampfer thaler" for the designer and mintmaster, Hans Jakob Stampfer. One effect of the Swiss Reformation, that started in Zürich, was that large quantities of precious metals were confiscated from churches. Between 1555 and 1561, Zürich supported two mintmaster and minted 9 million coins.

I just received this nicely toned 1894 AM 8 Reales. It has more purple and a lot more luster than the photos show.

SilverDon & chris86-
Both nice toners & almost 100 years apart.

SilverDon, you must be getting quit a collection of the early 70's toners.

Indeed JimmyD, over a dozen now '71-'73 as they were sold
without airtites and reacted with the big sponge RCM inserted in
the clamshell which caused some nice toning. Hard to take a group
shot as they all look a bit dark, need and angle with a light
source close.

Inexpensive and fun to collect.

Awesome coins all, 4Mile123 I am liking that 1902
5 Cents.
