Funny thing was, I'd had that card for as long as I can remember - it's the version with the '64 Kennedy and a miniature 10k gold Lincoln Cent that you can still find on ebay occasionally (maybe an opportunity for you?). The card had really deteriorated, and the lamination was starting to peel. I was selling off a bunch of silver so thought I'd include this Kennedy in the batch. When I removed it from the holder I was shocked at how nice the reverse looked. It had a little crud on it, but after a nice soak in an acetone bath it looked great and went straight into a 2x2! daltonista Pillar of the Community United States 1073 Posts	Posted 07/27/2021 12:04 am Just to inject some British accent into the discussion, this is my 1811 silver shilling token from Yarmouth, Norfolk. This token was issued by Frederick Reynolds, an attorney and elected mayor of Yarmouth at the time. The castle device was apparently a confection drafted by Reynolds that depicts his own triumphantly extended hand wielding the baton of civic authority. A humble public servant...NOT. The flip side shows the arms of Great Yarmouth, featuring three unusual creatures, half lion and half herring. That bit of heraldry originated with a royal grant bestowed by King Edward III in the 1300's after Yarmouth's (civilian) fishing fleet helped to save England from defeat in some naval battles with France during the Hundred Years' War. A lovely piece with gold and purple dominating, along with some hints of green. What really nails it, however, are the proof-like mirror fields underlying everything. Photography credit goes to the gentleman I bought this from 6-8 years ago. (I wouldn't be capable of anything even approaching this image quality!) I'll have to dig around and find a few of my different denominations but I really liked this one, simple but to the point. I have sold off most Morgans that I had and unfortunately, this was one of them, (wish I hadn't). I think I took this original pic with a cheap coolpix camera, which I still use.
