Can someone please tell me what is the difference between the silver,gold and platinum State Quarters? Are they plated or are they really solid gold.
I have found some gold and platinum at a local shop and don't know if the price is ok or not because I can't find anything on the coins.

Stay away from them. They are plated. There are silver proof coins but no gold or platinum. Stay away from those.

Might just be Lead from China and painted with Walmart spray paint.
So what is the price of those. If really cheap, might be fun to show people a Gold one as a joke. But as I said if cheap enough.
