Hi,
Looking for some information on these. They came from my father who was in the Military. He says that while in the military police they would take coins like this and polish them up and use them as to replace the brass plate that was part of the insignia.
So they have been cleaned and polished and are even slightly concave in shape. But I would still like to know more about them.
Thanks,

These are machine struck Chinese cash coins from the Kuang-hsu period, circa 1890-1908. Value @$2.00.

These are really interesting late cash coins. But it probably should be added that this type is extremely common, and unless in Unc. condition they often end up in 25 cent boxes. So I think that this is a bit of a more realistic value for these coins. But I'm sure that the sentimental value is much more to you.
