Well, one jobless guy has, in England. ELEVEN pounds of gold and FIVE & A HALF pounds of silver. All superbly crafted by excellent artisans of the seventh century and some encrusted with gems.......

It's too bad the government gets most of it under it's Treasure Trove laws.

reading about this on another forum, he's more likely to get about 5 million. The farmer who owned the land is going to get the same.
It seems that England has some laws about all this historical/hysterical stuff and they give the museums an opportunity to purchase it.

The law requires the finders to turn it over to the authorities or face jail time and large fines.
