I recently found eight rolls of 1974 Lincoln pennies. I'm not why my father had these, but I remember that he got them from the bank before they were distributed and said that they had never been touched by human hands. They are rolled in red paper wrappers with "BRANDT"/"WATERTOWN, WIS.U.S." printed on them. Is there any hidden value to these other than the obvious $4.00?

YEA! Original bank rolls can sometimes go for $20 each depending on the year. Not sure if '74s go that high but there is most definitely a premium on them.

Just for my understanding. Mike, why are the 1986's pricey? I've noticed that but don't know why.
