I'm taking a survey of this coin. If you have one, can you please answer the following questions for me. Thanks in advance to all that participate.

1. Does your coin have a Obv die cracks only, if so where?

2. Does your coin have Rev die cracks only, if so where?

3. Does your coin have both Obv and Rev die cracks, if so where?

Thanks,
Dan in Crystal Lake

No die cracks, light doubling in the N of CENTS and light die clash outline of the top of the portrait on the reverse side.

I have three.
1st coin no die cracks on obverse or reverse no doubling.
2ND coin no die cracks on either side but a bit of reverse doubling on the 1 in the date the N and T in cent also have a bit of doubling in them.
3rd coin has a die crack on the obverse side vertical along side of the right side of the N in Canada no doubling.

I have 3 with no D/C's either side, 3 with just the D/C alongside the right leg of the N in Canada, and 2 with the Obv D/C at the N now appreciably bigger and also with the thick D/C through leaf #9 to the denticles. The 2 with the D/C's both sides also exhibit all the other Obv D/C's that we have noted in the past... through the tops of the T & I in Gratia, the ICT of Victoria, and the are &T of Victoria. The finnal coin that I looked at, especially must have been one of the last with that Rev die, as the crack at 6:00 (leaf 9) is huge and the Obv crack at the N is also getting very thick. I would also note that the left foot of the are in Gratia is recut. Some of my coins have the "Vicky crud" on them and I don't want to clean them and 2 are VG at best, so some D/C's may not show.

Correction to my post a few minutes ago. In Victoria, the D/Cs are through the tops of the ICT and RI. And the recut in Gratia is the foot of the "R", not the "are".

Here is mine.. A little embarrassing, this is one of the "yet to be upgraded" coins.
Not a Die Crack in sight.
1884-Obv.1-Large-Cent-Coin.

I could be mistaken, but that looks an awful lot like an obv.2 to me snaz.
