When I was ordering online a new Dansco album for my completed Walker set, I messed up (not all that unusual I'm afraid) and ordered the Dansco album for 1941 thru 1947 Walkers rather than the full set of 1916-1947. Who would have thought that Dansco would offer another Walking liberty album with only one page of dates. Tradewinds graciously offered to let me return it, but than I had another of those expensive ideas. I love the look of BU Walkers - IMHO one of the prettiest 20Th Century coin designs. Yeah you might guess where this is going. I am going to collect slabbed MS 63 to MS 65 Walkers, crack them out and put them in the album. I already have four dates outside the one in my 7070 just because I like them. I am also going to try and find some toned coins, although the ones I have seen so far on ebay look AT. I will be doing this set at the same time that I am working on completing my Indian Head cent set.

I was going to suggest you go for the "long, and short" of it, but someone beat me to it! you are right, in that it is a thing of beauty. Dick

I was out of town this weekend and visited a coin store that I have bought from several times. One thing I specifically wanted was a Dansco for my morgans. None of them are high grade, just wanted a Dansco to put them in and some day I would begin updating. Well, I did the same thing you did. I had no idea that Dansco made three albums for morgans. Two of them split the set and the third is for the entire set. Of course I bought one of the half set books. Thought about taking it back next time I go there (could be awhile), but decided to go ahead and use the one I got and will purchase the one for the other half of the set later. I will pay better attention next time!

I think you did the right thing, IMO, I also collect this beautiful coin with Anna's face on the obverse, I believe the single book will be to heavy and clumsy to manage, you are talking about a lot of weight.
I just made the same move to place my coins in 2-albums for the series, glad I did, You might feel you like the single one, go for it, good luck, Mike

Morgans dad-I think you are right about the weight and such. I ordered a Dansco 7178 today for the other half of the series.

This is one of the reasons I use Whitman Albums. I can make any type of Album I want by using blank pages, blank covers, the Whitman Gold press on letters and numbers. I've made some really odd types of Albums this way. Many like Dansco Albums for some reason, but I'll stick to the Whitman ones due to all the availability.
