I was looking at some toned Peace dollars at the Philly Expo and was told that Peace dollars are hard to find toned. Some of the common date toners had outrageous prices! Do you think mine would have any attractiveness to a buyer?
The obverse looks a tad dark for the toner crowd, but the reverse is quite gorgeous! Given it is naturally toned, I would expect someone would pay a premium for it.
Peace dollars do not tone well and they are very hard to find with nice looking toning. I am not sure why they don't tone like Morgans do but for some reason they just dont

Bryan,
You are correct. One of the theory's is based on the dramatic difference in surface texture between the Peace and Morgan dollars, but nobody knows for sure. This was discussed in this cointalk thread if you're interested.
