Low, medium, and high light. Unfortunately, the pictures didn't capture much of the luster....

That's a beauty, I'd grade it as AU-53. That's an interesting looking date he 8's look narrow and the 0 looks like it's egg shaped rather than round. Any idea what the Overton number is? I wasn't and find it.

Beautiful Bustie! Looks like a solid strike. Motto looks hammered. I would give it a AU-53 possible Au-55 if there is more luster hidden by the pic like you said.

I believe it's O-104, going by the line above the "R" in liberty! Very nice coin, Overton says this date is often weakly struck!

I was surprised to hear that people thought it was strongly struck, I guess I thought it was weakly struck because I wasn't familiar with the die varieties and this tends to be one of the weaker struck ones.

I also graded around AU-55, maybe net AU-53 or AU-50 because some of the reverse is wiped. But it's not harshly cleaned and not wiped throughout, thankfully.

It is certainly a nice coin. I like the "First Style" eagle. I didn't even notice the wiping on the reverse.

BTW Shadow- how is your bust dime set coming along?

Pretty decent, I have the 1805, 1814, and 1828 small in already, but I need to build up some more funds to get presentable examples of stuff like the 1796 1804 etc
