Lincoln Cent 1986-D -- Machine Doubling?

It was extremely difficult to photograph the error on this coin, And unfortunately the pictures are still a bit blurry.

The letter "O" in "ONE" on the reverse has some odd doubling on the right side, most noticible in the first picture.

There is also some doubling on the left side, along with a raised bump sticking out from the O. (More easily seen in the second picture.)

My first thought was Machine Doubling, But the doubling seems to "Slope" down from the top of the letter, and disappear about midway down. (Something I've never seen Machine Doubling do before.)

The N also might show some slight doubling, but I'm not sure.
