Thanks for the lead. I just placed a web order for that coin. Ya got to admit those native Canadian coins are sweet and can be expensive. This ones a little more affordable. BTW Pattiewack...whos that cute kid in your profile pic.? That little fella is one sweet looking kid.

Kid's a Tanzanian orphan I met when I when I visited two summers ago. That's me lifting him up to catch a football Brought back some nice coins as well!

Well...not to get too mushy Pattiewhack, but for an orphan sporting with a smile like that you obviously touched him in a special way.Well done. Im not into world coins at all, but don't tell me. Tanzanian coins have elephants on them? How about posting a pic of one or 2 of them.

Just saw this coin today , picture does not do it justice. By far the nicest coin of the RCM's recent releases

My opinions about "mint product" have been expressed here before, but in my opinion this coin is a standout.

I agree...the mint puts out alot of fluff, but this one I'm excited about receiving. Hope it sells out and then the demand hits.

The spot where the coin used to be in the local PO's display case is looking pretty empty. I'm still siting on the fence whether to buy one at full price or hold off for now, but I'm leaning towards paying full mint price, which I almost never do.

Got mine today....mint number 2925 from a total of 15000. Indeed a big clam shell case for a coin just a shy smaller than a loonie

WOW, nice coin, possibly the R.C.M's finest to date. However, don't rush out and purchase this coin right away, wait a couple of years and you'll be able to get it at half price. All the R.C.M. coinage eventually goes down! Glenn

Indeed that happens, but as strictly a collector I want to enjoy owning this now, and not a few years down the road.
