So earlier in the summer when I began my venture into roll searching halves I started out buying all the halves at just one bank (BoA). I asked them early on if they would order a box of halves for me and they said they don't do that! So I said whatever and started going to every bank in my town weekly or biweekly looking for halves.

So I am always very polite and cheerful when dealing with my ladies at BoA (or any bank for that matter) and that seems to have gone a long way. They didn't have any halves today and I straight out asked them again if they would order a box of halves for me. They said yes! So be polite and courteous to your tellers is the way to go... maybe they will see you aren't an butt and will genuinely not mind ordering a box of halves for ya!

Im excited too because she said she has had 450 dollars worth down in the vault for a while but never brought them up so I am wondering whats in that stash! In the next week I should have my box all ready to pick up!

450 dollars and what I am most certain was about 400 worth of presearched rolls (looks like a razor slit down the side and taped back up). I found 2 40% though so not a total waste!

If you are going to get more, you may want to return the first batch to a different bank.

o dont worry 2old I am not new to the game : D before my bank would actually order boxes id go to every bank in town and snatch up all the halves. then I have a bank 1 town over (different bank too) that I do my dumping at. Also considering my only real spending money is tied up in halves, as I am a student and only work part time, I can't spend the halves or else I couldn't buy more boxes! Although it would be great to see cashiers faces when you pull a roll from your pocket! :D
