Seen an ad on T.V.,They are selling this replica and I have never heard of it and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the "real" coin. Supposably they only minted two of the real ones.
Thanks,

The two gold examples are in the National Collection in the Smithsonian and there are a very small number of copper strikes in private hands. Both types are pattern coins, not regular issues. The $100 Union was not minted in any form, it was only conceptualized by Longacre.

The Half Union Remakes are scams, just like the Obama Coins.

putting Obama and scam in the same sentence is redundant.
