I know this is long past history for most of the country. But my wife came home with three Log Cabins, Denver mint, from circulation yesterday. These are the first new Lincoln cents, I've found from circulation in Arkansas. Also, heard one bank in town got several boxes of LP3 coins, Philadelphia mint. Guess we're not getting the LP2 cents here.

Just wanted to let everyone know. Now, bring on the Arkansas jokes: like the guys who make a mistake a printed nine dollar bills, so they came to Ozarks to cash them. The country store clerk just looked at the bill and asked do you want three $3 bills or a $6 and $3 bill for change.

wow a person at Walmart tried to cash in a 1 million dollar bill and she had 3 more in her purse:)
