Got another $60 at lunchtime. My wife thinks that I am insane.
Found a heap (6) of 1981 20c Canadian mints.
It is a bit chilly here. We had hailstones last week. I am from Scotland so it is not an issue for me though.

Another $60 today. Wanted 20c but the bank stated that they were running low. I think I have emptied the bank. Got $20 of .20 and $40 of .50 though.

...was thinking about doing charity work counting collection tins or something to get the coin view count up!

Hi,

I've been doing this for years. While not a customer, my local Westpac was more than willing to help out. I found some very nice $1 and 1997 and 1999 large head 10 cent pieces over the last 5-6 years. My best $1 was a 1992 brilliant UNC. I also picked up heaps of 2003 Vol $1. When they closed for renovations, I approached my own bank and the reception was not as helpful, but I got around that. I have found it easier to exchange notes for coin, as coin for coin is time consuming. I used to exchange around $1000 of $1 a week (no mules yet)don't do it as much now.

I scored a wide 1994 in change from safeway on thursday.
I have my son do change runs from bank to bank while I do my fortnightly shop, keeps him occupied. We haven't found any varieties yet but we'll keep on digging.
I scanned the 1994 ,its a bit battered but no complaints here,
